Yeva Nayflish of Oak Creek Honored at 2013 Ripon College Awards Convocation

Yeva Nayflish, a Sophomore Chemistry-Biology major from Oak Creek, WI was named the recipient of the 2013 Grace Gertrude Goodrich Classics Scholarship during the annual Awards Convocation held April 17, 2013.

Grace Gertrude Goodrich, Ripon College Class of 1906, returned to her Alma Mater as Professor of Classics (1913-39) and also served as Dean of Women (1933- 39). She was eulogized in a campus obituary in October 1939 as "this kindliest and greatest person in the Ripon College family." An endowment funded by her former students recognizes current students who have demonstrated excellence in Classical Studies.

Nayflish is the child of Mr. Boris Nayflish of Oak Creek, WI.
