Nathan Held of Houghton Performs in Ripon College's Collegium Musicum

Nathan Held, a Junior German, Psychology and Philosophy major at Ripon College will perform Tenor in the Collegium Musicum vocal ensemble, Friday, April 19, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the Ripon College campus.

Held is the child of Dr. Roger L. Held and Ms. Patricia A. Helsel .

Selections will include three works by John Downland: "What if I Never Speede," "Wilt thou, unkind" and "Toss not my Soul."

Other selections will be "Four arms, two necks, one wreathing," by Thomas Weelkes; "Three Elizabethan partsongs," by Ralph Vaughan Williams; "Mille regretz," by Josquin des Prez: "Tant que vivray," by Claudin de Sermisy; "Chansons francaises," by Francis Poulenc; and "Six Chansons on Original French Poems by Rainer Maria Rilke," by Paul Hindemith.

Admission to the concert is free.
