Nathan Held of Houghton, MI will perform with Ripon College's Collegium Musicum

Nathan Held, a Senior German Psychology Philosophy major at Ripon College from Houghton, MI, will be performing with Ripon College's Collegium Musicum, April 25. Held is the child of Dr. Roger L. Held and Ms. Patricia A. Helsel of Houghton, MI.

Collegium Musicum, a mixed-voice chamber group that specializes in performing music written before 1750, will perform "Songs of the Sea" Friday, April 25. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the Ripon College campus. Admission is free.

Selections will include works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, traditional Swedish and Bahamian, William Billings, Gwyneth Walker, Johannes Brahms, Richard Wagner, Eric Whitacre, Godfrey Marks and others.

Soloists will be sophomore JaneMarie Erickson '16 of Redgranite, Wis., and senior Samantha Angell '14 of Reeseville, Wis., sopranos; and senior Daniel Miles '14 of Milwaukee, Wis., baritone.
