Matthew Maginnis of Polo Honored at Ripon College Awards Convocation

Matthew Maginnis, a senior Physics major from Polo, was recently honored at the 2012 Ripon College Awards Convocation, an annual event recognizing student achievement during the academic year. He is the son of Mr . and Mrs. Mark Maginnis of Polo, Ill.

Maginnis received the following honor(s):

The David L. Harris Memorial Award. The David L. Harris Memorial Award recognizes the Ripon College student who has contributed the most to the betterment of community service through a College club or organization to improve areas that affect students or student life.

The William Harley Barber Award. The award recognizes an outstanding student in the physics department. The recipient receives a cash award.
