Karlyn Schumacher of River Falls, WI, receives award at Ripon College Award Convocation

Karlyn Schumacher, a Junior majoring in English History at Ripon College from River Falls, WI, received the 2014 John F. Glaser Award during the College's annual Awards Convocation, held April 17, 2013.

A cash award is given to a junior who has shown distinction in the study of history. The award is given in memory of Dr. John F. Glaser, professor of history at Ripon College from 1954 to 1979. The mixture of a kind, gentle and giving man, a dedicated professional and an understanding educator will never be forgotten by those who knew him. It is in this spirit that the award is presented.

Schumacher is the child of Mr. and Mrs. Ryan P. Schumacher of River Falls, WI.
