Kaitlyn Welzen of Twin Lakes, WI, receives award at Ripon College Award Convocation

Kaitlyn Welzen, a Junior double majoring in Spanish and Environmental Studies at Ripon College from Twin Lakes, WI, received the 2014 Clifford Crump Phi Beta Kappa Award during the College's annual Awards Convocation, held April 17, 2013.

A cash award is given to a sophomore and a junior selected by the Ripon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa on the basis of academics, intellectual interest outside the classroom and service to the community. This award was established by Clifford C. Crump, a member of Ripon’s mathematics department from 1937 to 1957.

Welzen is the child of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin C. Welzen of Twin Lakes, WI.
