Joshua Fabian of New Berlin Honored at Ripon College Awards Convocation

Joshua Fabian, a senior Exercise Science major from New Berlin, was recently honored at the 2012 Ripon College Awards Convocation, an annual event recognizing student achievement during the academic year. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Fabian of New Berlin, Wis.

Fabian received the following honor(s):

Membership in Pi Lambda Theta. Pi Lambda Theta is an international honor society and professional association in education. It was founded in 1910. Its mission is to provide leadership for the teaching profession; promote academic excellence in all educational levels; provide leadership development for all members; foster an environment for professional growth; and to recognize outstanding educators. Pi Lambda Theta is open to senior undergraduates completing programs in education who have an overall GPA of 3.5. Ripon College recently established a Direct Honors relationship with the society. This is the first year that Ripon College students have been nominated for membership in Pi Lambda Theta.
