Angelica Schwartz of Beloit, WI, receives award at Ripon College Award Convocation

Angelica Schwartz, a Senior majoring in English at Ripon College from Beloit, WI, received the 2014 Dorothea Wilgus Pickard Prize during the College's annual Awards Convocation, held April 17, 2013.

A Ripon College Bookstore gift card for the purchase of books is awarded to the student who has done the best work in creative writing over the past year. The prize is given in memory of a longtime friend and trustee of the College, herself a published author, and is underwritten by an endowment provided by former President and Mrs. Bernard S. Adams.

Schwartz is the child of Sid and Julie Schwartz of Beloit, WI.
