Amber Sotemann of Baraboo Honored at 2013 Ripon College Awards Convocation

Amber Sotemann, a Junior English major from Baraboo, WI was named the recipient of the 2013 Dorothea Wilgus Pickard Prize during the annual Awards Convocation held April 17, 2013.

A Ripon College Bookstore gift card for the purchase of books is awarded to the stu- dent who has done the best work in creative writing over the past year. The prize is given in memory of a longtime friend and trustee of the College, herself a published author, and is underwritten by an endowment provided by former President and Mrs. Bernard S. Adams.

Sotemann is the child of Mr. Rob Sotemann of Baraboo, WI and Ms. Petra MT Bakker-Oldham of Wisconsin Dells, WI.
