Amanda Schwarzenbart of Reedsburg Honored at 2013 Ripon College Awards Convocation

Amanda Schwarzenbart, a Junior Chemistry-Biology , Spanish and Economics major from Reedsburg, WI was named the recipient of the 2013 John Livingston '49 And Nacy Livingston Endowed Economics Scholarship; Richard O. And Elizabeth Poulsen Hader Scholarship during the annual Awards Convocation held April 17, 2013.

The John Livingston '49 and Nancy Livingston Endowed Economics Scholarship entails tuition credit awarded to a junior majoring in Economics who has exhibited outstanding achievement and interest in economics and attained at least a 3.0 GPA. This award is named in honor of Jack Livingston, professor of economics at Ripon College, and his wife Nancy. The Richard O. and Elizabet Poulsen Hader Scholarship entails credit toward tuition and is awarded to a student on the basis of outstanding dedication and service to the College. Faculty from both the biology and chemistry departments determine the award recipients. The endowment was established by Dr. Richard C. Hader, Class of 1949, in honor of his parents.

Schwarzenbart is the child of Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Schwarzenbart of Reedsburg, WI.
