Area Students Perform in Ripon College's Collegium Musicum
2013 Apr 19The Ripon College Collegium Musicum , a vocal ensemble, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the Ripon College campus. Selections will include three works by John Downland: "What if I Never Speede," "Wilt thou, unkind" and "Toss not my Soul." Other selections will be "Four arms, two necks, one wreathing," by Thomas Weelkes; "Three Elizabethan partsongs," by Ralph Vaughan Williams; "Mille regretz," by Josquin des Prez: "Tant que vivray," by Claudin de Sermisy; "Chansons francaises," by Francis Poulenc; and "Six Chansons on Original French Poems by Rainer Maria Rilke," by Paul Hindemith. Admission to the concert is free.
